Employee Appreciation
Employers make a significant contribution to the welfare of their employees by offering a qualified retirement plan. To maximize employee appreciation, it is important that they understand the value of this benefit. Baldwin & Clarke Retirement Plan Services is available to hold employee meetings to assist in this endeavor. |

401(k) Participation
The success of a 401(k) plan depends on employee participation. In most cases, the organization that provides the investment services to the plan provides the employee education regarding plan investments, the benefits of participation, etc. If an employer utilizes a B&CRPS investment platform, a representative of one of The Baldwin & Clarke Companies will assist in this employee education process. |

Fiduciary Requirements Retirement plan trustees have a fiduciary obligation to establish and follow written procedures for the selection of plan investments (even in 401(k) plans) and for the ongoing monitoring of those investments. Furthermore, there must be documentation to substantiate that the process is being carried out. The failure to properly exercise these, and other, fiduciary requirements puts a trustee’s personal assets at risk. Baldwin & Clarke Advisory Services, Inc., a registered investment advisor, is available to assist plan sponsors in meeting their fiduciary obligations with respect to plan investments. |
